It’s been some weeks since my last post. I had an accident at the gym when I was preparing for my aerobics class and suffered a mild concussion. It’s one of those accidents where I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. It has been an emotional, frustrating and scary experience. Anyways, I have put that experience behind me and feel much better now.
Between the time of my last post until now, I also got engaged! I will become a Mrs next summer (summer 2017). My now fiancee, Daniel, surprised me with the proposal on February 13, 2016. He told me that we were going to do something special that day – but I had no clue what that meant.

This week is Chinese New Year! Chinese New Year falls on February 8, 2016 this year and we are celebrating the year of the Monkey. Chinese New Year is based on the Chinese lunar calendar (so each year the day is different) and each New Year is represented by one of the 12 creatures in the Chinese Zodiac.
